The conference offers delegates the opportunity to share knowledge, be inspired and to make those all important contacts. To this end, the LILAC committee puts together an exciting programme of keynote speakers, social events and parallel sessions including long and short presentations, hands-on workshops, and symposia.
We actively encourage practitioners and researchers to present at LILAC. Many of our speakers are new to conference presentations when they come to LILAC and find that it is a fantastic and supportive environment to make their first foray into the world of presenting.
Presenters at LILAC are also encouraged to submit an article to the Journal of Information Literacy.
LILAC supports open access and authors retain copyright of presentations showcased at the conference. You are free to deposit a copy in your institutional repository but we would appreciate an acknowledgement that it was first presented at LILAC with a link back to the LILAC site.
LILAC is great opportunity for our fellow professionals to present their ideas, share best practice and show case new thinking in our sector. If you have an idea then we'd love to hear about it. We have many options for the types of sessions you might run from a symposium to a workshop. Visit our Call for papers page to find out how to apply.
Places at this year's conference are likely to be in demand more than ever before. Each year our conference grows increasingly popular and this year promises to be no different. Don't miss out and book your place now for this year's conference.
We look forward to seeing you there!
